Current Head Office Opportunities: Full Time Associate Support (Ticketing/Invoicing)

Overall Description:
Our organization manages a large volume of travel invoicing in a supportive team environment, for TPI’s growing network of independent travel agents across Canada.  A high degree of accuracy is required on processing airline tickets/exchanges, and invoicing for corporate, leisure travel and groups, using both APOLLO and SABRE systems.

Department/Location: Associate Support Center (ASC)/ BC, AB, SK or MB

Reporting relationship: Associate Support Center Supervisor at Winnipeg Head Office

Major Work Activities:

  • Review PNR’s for completion and accuracy; ticketing and invoicing, including tickets/exchanges/refunds/service fees and insurance using Apollo, Sabre and ClientBase Browser.
  • Monitoring special ticketing requirements as applicable for negotiated partner agreements, web fares, tour operator/consolidator bookings and seasonal promotions
  • High level of customer service to our clients - TPI Associates, offering support through timely communication via phone, email, and online messaging
  • Coaching independent travel agents with correct use of TPI systems, travel industry standards, policies and procedures as required

Key Competencies:

  • Minimum 3 years previous experience as a corporate or leisure travel agent required
  • confident in booking and ticketing air travel, including BSP tickets, exchanges, refunds and group travel in GDS systems (Apollo and Sabre)
  • high degree of organization and accuracy in entering data
  • ability to prioritize, be resourceful and use judgment in handling time-sensitive inquiries
  • customer service focus, excellent communication skills
  • able to work variety of shifts, due to serving clients across all Canadian time zones between 8am - 8pm CST.
  • reliable team player in regards to attendance, punctuality, sharing information, completing tasks within deadlines
  • demonstrate positive attitude including being flexible with changing needs of clients and changes in travel industry
  • bilingual English/French an asset
